Rallying to Save Cooper Union!
Dear Alumni and Friends,
Our second Indiegogo campaign is off to an excellent start with over $11,000 raised from over 78 donors in under a week! That, together with Adam Forbes’ $25,000 donation brings us to a third of the goal for our second round of fundraising — but we need your help to sustain the momentum. Please make a generous donation today and spread the word throughout your network.
The Committee to Save Cooper Union’s efforts are fueled by the efforts and donations of so many people like you, as well as “sister” organizations such as Free Cooper Union. Today, we’d like to spotlight the extraordinary effort of 18 Cooper Union artists who came together to create beautiful “rewards” for donations to the first round legal fund. Their generous effort is an inspiring example of how alumni are rallying around Cooper Union.
For this round of fundraising we are featuring a special edition of Cooper alum Bill Wolf’s signed “Air & Water” woodcut print (featured in the video) as well as posters, embroidered patches and Peter Cooper gelatine totebags as donor perks! Give frequently and enjoy the rewards. Every dollar you give helps to replenish the legal fund needed to ensure we can see the legal effort through (the almost inevitable appeal) to victory.
Thank you so much for your unwavering support,
The Committee to Save Cooper Union
